Contributions are taken in pounds sterling (GBP). The minimum contribution is £5. Card payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.
How your contribution is used
If you choose a project, your contribution is intended for that project. If you choose the general development fund, it may be used for any priority community project on this site.
If a chosen project is fully funded or cannot go ahead, we will contact you using the email you gave. We will not move your contribution to another project or to the general fund without your explicit agreement; if you do not agree, you may ask for a refund.
Project figures marked "Sample project" are illustrations, not real totals.
Refund requests (draft — 14 days)
You may request a refund within 14 days of your contribution by contacting us through the contact form on the home page, quoting your contribution reference (for example SW-XXXXXXXXXX).
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment card through Stripe. Banks typically take 5–10 working days to show the refund.
We may be unable to refund money that has already been committed or spent on a project (for example, paid to a contractor or supplier); we will tell you if this applies. Requests made after 14 days are considered case by case.
Nothing in this policy affects your rights under applicable consumer law, or your right to dispute a payment with your card provider.
